No infinite feed
Nothing to scroll. You see whoever is switched on at the place you are standing in — usually a handful, sometimes none.
fofiy doesn’t help you find people. It helps you find the moment you would have missed.
fofiy On answers one question: who at this place, right now, is open to company.
You are somewhere right now, and you are open to company. fofiy shows who else at this place is too. No feed, no swiping — just here, now.
Open worldwide. No pilot city, no invite code, no waiting list.
Where are you fofiy today?
Open to company here
An illustration of the two screens: where people are, and who is in the room. Names and places are examples.
fofiy is one account for three parts of real life: the people around you, the objects that change hands, and the work between businesses and creators.
Who is at a place is only ever answered inside the app, to people at the same place.
A subject nobody else has written in stays invisible until a second person does — which is what keeps forty spellings of one subject from existing at once. Nothing is ranked, nothing is trending, and no number about any of it lands on a person.
Poudrose’s catalogue, as it stands today. Selling opens when the listing flow does: photograph the thing, fofiy drafts the listing, you approve it, and it goes up at €1.
Creators can apply now — a marketplace with nobody to answer has nothing to sell. Businesses cannot brief yet; that waits on payments.
What fofiy is working on
Presence, not profiles.
A presence layer for public places. Not a profile to build and not a feed to scroll — one question: are you open to company, here, for the next hour or two?
Nothing to scroll. You see whoever is switched on at the place you are standing in — usually a handful, sometimes none.
Never “active 12 minutes ago”. Presence lasts at most two hours, ends when you leave, and leaves no trail.
One Join Request, to one person, at the place you are both already in. Quota-limited on purpose, so attention stays worth something.
Three steps
The whole product is these three moves. Everything else is there to make them safe.
Pick the place you are standing in and one mood — Coffee, Work, Cheers, A bite, Reading, Language. That is everything anyone can see about you at this stage.
No free text before an answer — you pick one of the openers. Sending shows your card. The receiver's stays closed until they decide.
Accepted? Now you get a look note — "grey jumper, by the window". You walk over. The meet is confirmed by both sides, and only then does anything more open up.
Privacy
Your location is not your identity. People see the venue, never your coordinates; your name stays yours until you accept; presence expires on its own; one tap blocks. How that is enforced.
The venue and your mood. Not a street, not a table, not a map pin on you.
Visible to: everyone switched on at this same place.
"Grey jumper, window seat." Enough to recognise someone across a room, and nothing more.
Visible to: only someone whose request was accepted.
The exact table or a photo, offered by hand. A table number is never a default. Neither is a selfie.
Visible to: only after both sides confirm the meet.
Asymmetric reveal: the requester's card is shown, the receiver's is not. Sending means agreeing to open up; declining costs nothing — no notification, no trace, no explanation owed. That is what makes persistence expensive and refusal free.
fofiy does not need to remember everywhere you have been.
The word
Wanna fofiy?
Let's fofiy.
fofiy is written the same way everywhere — lowercase, one shape, in every tense and every language. No fofiys, no fofiyed, no fofiying. It is the company, and it is the thing you do: meeting, talking, spending an hour with someone in the same room. One spelling is the only kind a brand can defend and the only kind nobody mistypes.
Venues and brands
There is no curated venue list to wait for. A verified user adds the place they are standing in and it is de-duplicated within 120 metres, so the map fills in wherever people actually are.
Venues and brands apply from inside the app. Partnership is an upgrade — a verified page, comfort signals that say company is welcome at your tables — never the door: being unlisted never keeps your guests from switching on.
Name, kind, and the coordinates you are already standing on. Duplicates merge automatically.
Every Thursday, 18:00–20:00 local time — the same hour of everyone's own evening, so density happens somewhere even on the first week.
Say you will be at the corner café on Saturday at four. Others can say the same, and an empty room becomes a full one before anyone arrives.
Questions
No. There is no matching, no ranking, no romantic intent field. The unit of the product is an hour of company at a place. The heart appears exactly once in the whole brand: as the dot of the ı.
The empty state is the main screen, not an error. Leave a plan for later, ask to be told when somebody switches on, or invite the friend who would have come anyway.
What is held, for how long, and what is never held · What it costs, who may use it, and the rules
fofiy is live in every city, with no pilot region and no waiting list. The first weeks will be thin in most places — we would rather say so than pretend. Open it where you already are, and see who else is on.
An email address is all it takes to sign in. The phone is asked for later, and only for the things that cost somebody else something.
